Namibia is considered one of the more developed countries in Africa, and it is where Martina, a teacher, has made her home. She works at a local university and has built strong connections with the community she now loves. Through her local friends, we visit families from two indigenous tribes and prepare their traditional meals, where staple dishes often centre around different types of porridge. We also step outside our comfort zone and try preparing edible worms. From stunning safaris and breathtaking nature to the realities of life shaped by wider challenges, Namibia reveals many layers. We even get up close with cheetahs and experience the local nightlife, offering a unique and diverse glimpse into this remarkable country.
