Božena loves Slovakia, but one holiday in Bulgaria changed her life. She fell in love with a Bulgarian man and now lives and works there. Her partner speaks Slovak, while Božena speaks Bulgarian. Together, they show us Bulgaria outside the busy season, full of great food and local traditions. We experience fishing and home style baking, where her father in law shows his skills, while local children sneak in to steal fresh pastries. It is a warm and lively journey through everyday life, flavours, and family moments in Bulgaria.
