Overview
Multiple sclerosis, or MS for short, is also called "the disease of a thousand faces" – the symptoms are diverse and sometimes appear as a flare-up, sometimes slowly creeping. MS is currently incurable, but thanks to medical advances, it is increasingly treatable. What remains for those affected and their families, however, is the uncertainty about the course of the disease.
