A camera infiltrates the unknown world, the gold mine! It is the only Hishikari Mine in Kagoshima that still produces three and a half tons of gold per year in Japan. There are 190 people working here, ranging from teenagers to veterans in their 60s. At the forefront of the 100km-long mineway, people who control huge heavy machinery, engineers who track the extent of the mine veins, and women who sort stones, including gold. It is used not only for jewelry, but also for electronic devices such as smartphones, and it is used to support the life of gold. What is the pride of the people who work at the mining site?
